ESSENTIA: architectures of silence and consciousness
Share
ESSENTIA is a posthumanist contemporary art series that investigates what remains when the human figure disappears and space becomes consciousness.
The works in this collection do not depict inhabited places, but rather silent architectures, suspended stages where light, absence, and minimal tension construct a unique visual language. Empty swimming pools, white walls, open skies, and geometric structures function as metaphors for a human presence that is no longer there, yet remains perceptible.
A work that needs no explanation to be felt
Many viewers approach ESSENTIA's works from a purely emotional perspective. It's not necessary to understand the theoretical framework to connect with them. The work can be pleasing, engaging, or unsettling without any conceptual mediation.
However, for collectors, galleries and art professionals, ESSENTIA is structured as a coherent pictorial research project, where each piece engages in dialogue with the previous ones and with the series as a whole.
Critical minimalism and posthuman space
ESSENTIA is situated within a line of critical minimalism , where formal reduction is not decorative, but conceptual. Architecture does not act as a stage, but as a subject. Space becomes language.
The absence of the human figure does not imply emptiness, but a displaced presence: the viewer's consciousness completes the work.
Unique work and direct acquisition
Each work in the ESSENTIA collection is unique , created using mixed media (AI as a conceptual basis + manual intervention with acrylic, airbrush and oil on canvas).
Some pieces are available for direct purchase from the studio , under specific conditions, different from those offered through intermediary platforms. This model allows us to preserve the project's coherence, the traceability of the work, and a closer relationship with the collector.
An evolving project
ESSENTIA is not a closed series. It is an ongoing project, where each new work introduces subtle variations in architecture, light, and compositional balance. This continuity is one of the elements that generates the most interest among both regular viewers and art professionals.
The works currently available from the ESSENTIA collection can be viewed in the online gallery.
Some pieces are part of private collections and are not publicly available. For specific information on availability or direct purchase, please see the section "Access to Direct Purchase ."
