In this work, I don't eliminate the human being: I suspend them. They don't appear physically, but their trace remains. A chair, a piece of fabric, a shadow, the reflection in the water… these are evidence of a presence that is no longer there but continues to resonate. I am interested in how absence can become active, how a space without human figures can breathe, remember and think...always leaving the question open: what remains of the essential when the human being disappears?
ESSENTIA VIII is part of my research into a posthuman vision understood not as technology, but as ethics: what remains when the protagonist disappears. I seek a balance between matter, consciousness, and environment, where nature and architecture silently sustain identity.
The chair, like Magritte's pipe, is not a chair: it is a sign. An echo of humanity at the moment when only the trace remains.
