ESSENTIA XI was born from a revelation: before this immaculate house, the pool, and the understated architecture, there was a line of trees. They were cut down to build this space, but their presence remains as a shadow. That shadow is not decorative: it is memory, a trace, and the survival of the essential even when we physically remove it.
For a long time I thought perfection could be built, that control was the goal. ESSENTIAXI forced me to rethink it. Nature existed before our constructions and will continue to exist after. We are not the center; we are part of something larger. This understanding aligns with the series' posthumanist vision: harmony doesn't arise from replacing nature with architecture, but from learning to coexist with it. Is this balance possible?
